Sign up now to our new Communications Centre

We are currently migrating to a new email Communications Centre.

This new Communications Centre will help us ensure you get the communications you would like to receive and allow you to manage your personal information at any time.

So if you would like to keep receiving NZ On Air communications – such as funding decisions, media releases, newsletters and industry updates – you just need to click on this link and let us know which emails you would like.

Please also make sure you fill out all the required information. We sometimes find we need to do bespoke comms to a particular group – for example to invite to a workshop or other event – so information on your organisation/business and role is key to be able to do this.

Once you’ve entered your details into this new system you’ll be able to manage and update your communications preferences much more easily, as and when you like.

In a few months, we will retire the database from which you are currently receiving emails. So please make sure you go in and update your communications preferences now. Our apologies if you have only recently signed up in the old system.

What do you need to do?:

  • Click this link
  • Enter your details (this new system doesn’t know you yet)
  • Tick which communications you’d like to receive
  • Press Submit

It’s that easy.

If you have any questions, email us at communications@nzonair.govt.nz.

Script to Screen – Rupture
The second iteration of Rupture, an intensive programme for writers developing a series, kicked off in November with a new cohort of six writer-creators and their teams.

  • Brita McVeigh and Emily Perkins
  • Hamish Bennett
  • Josephine Stewart Te-Whiu
  • Mingjian Cui
  • Shoshana McCallum
  • Sophie Henderson

The 11-month programme, which is supported by NZ On Air, is run by Programme Director Eloise Veber and Development Lead Alex Reed – and includes a series of workshops and support from local and international practitioners to support the writer-creators through the development process.

You can read more about the programme here.
