Hang in there

To all our content makers and platforms – we are thinking of you as you grapple with the impacts of lockdown.

Please continue to put safety and well-being first. If you need to check in with us on how we can support you please do get in touch by phone or email. Our team is continuing to process payments as normal, and assess funding applications.

Information on the Screen Production Recovery Fund is on our website on our dedicated Responding to COVID-19 page.

For musicians, we know this is a very unsettling and stressful time especially with the uncertainty around live music events and tours. The Music Helps wellbeing service is available if you need someone to talk with. You can contact them at https://musichelps.org.nz or call their helpline 0508 MUSICHELPS.

For artists with funded Singles and Projects that are experiencing delays due to the latest restrictions, we do understand and are happy to push out any pending deadlines. It’s best to just let us know your changed plans once we all get some more certainty. You can contact us about changes at newmusic@nzonair.govt.nz

A reminder too that right now there is literally a captive audience in every home across the motu – promote the heck out of your content in any way you can! And if you have the time yourself, check out local content on demand, discover new local music on our NZ On Air Music Spotify and support local platforms as much as you can.
