NZ On Air invites expressions of interest from NZ producers/broadcasters to provide live coverage of the New Zealand Service at Chunuk Bair on 25 April 2015, the centenary of the start of the Gallipoli campaign.
Anzac Day 2015 in Gallipoli is a significant anniversary and an important event for New Zealand. Live coverage of the Dawn Service from the Anzac Cove Commemorative Site, which will occur at 2.30pm NZ time, will be provided by ABC, which is the host broadcaster for the Dawn Service.
NZ On Air funding will enable live, free to air coverage of the New Zealand Service at Chunuk Bair, which follows the Dawn Service at 8.30pm NZ time.
NZ On Air has released an RFP and applications close 22 November 2013.
