NZ On Air will fund 22 new music projects in its latest Making Tracks funding round.

The 22 projects were selected from a field of 123 applications.

There are 15 $10,000 grants for recording a song and making a music video to back up the release of the song and seven $6,000 grants for making a music video only.

This is the second Making Tracks funding round for the 2013-2014 funding year. In the first round in July, NZ On Air funded 23 projects from 121 applications and in the 2012-2013 financial year (to 30 June), NZ On Air funded 244 Making Tracks projects from 1,282 applications.

Decisions are based on the broadcast, music and audience merits of the songs that have been submitted, judged by a panel of broadcasting and music professionals.
