Study Guide for Teachers, Students & Researchers

NZ On Air has a wealth of information regarding policy issues, audience research and statutory publications in the broadcasting industry.

What's in this site for teachers, students and researchers?

Here you'll find an up-to-date study guide aimed at secondary school classes in media studies, English and social studies. It encourages students to define their own view of New Zealand culture and to set this within a wider social and media context.

Major changes in the political and economic framework of broadcasting have occurred over the past ten years. The study guide focuses on the role of NZ On Air in ensuring New Zealand and New Zealanders get their fair share of the airwaves.
